Our books are like little baby deer (sorry, I just had to reference Bambi XD ) -- they struggle to stand, but once they can, they must be treated with delicacy until they finally learn how to walk!

And oh, Sense & Sensibility! I've yet to read it (because, well, reasons ;) ), but I love the movie and miniseries! Elinor and Edmund and Marianne and Colonel Brandon... *squeals* *hugs all the li'l baby characters*Liv K. I'm so honored and surprised! :) And this post is definitely helpful for me, especially the method of studying favorite authors. These tips are definitely helpful.
Great post :) Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02412158036738231881noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4119076849925022267.post-89592483012900932122017-07-22T20:22:35.838-07:002017-07-22T20:22:35.838-07:00These are GREAT points!! They need time to get strong, and THEN you can send them out into the world for family, friends, and beta readers to read and critique! :)

And don't feel bad, Jane Austen's writing style is a bit hard to get through. I've only read Sense and Sensibility, and it seemed to drag on a little too much for my taste. But I still loved it just for the characters and dialogue. :)Madeline J. And all the points you made are GOLDEN.

And hey I...am not the BIGGEST fan of Austen's books either. I do tend to enjoy them when I read them, but they're not something I want to read ALL the time. At all. They're too heavy for me. Though, really, I'm not big on the classics in general. So much description and flowery prose. Z_Z Give me action-packed, YA novels any day!Christine Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15859881278385314279noreply@blogger.com
